Join the Packrafting Association of NZ, a non-profit club that advocates for Packrafting issues in NZ, organise meetup events and club trips.

They manage an incident register, organise packrafting film festivals, donate to support packrafting infrastructure (key backcountry huts), plus a portion of your membership fee goes to supporting this site.

There’s a range of national and regional groups you can join. There are loads of great people, info and ideas.. But. like everything on the internet, check the information you receive with verification via multiple trusted sources, and start with trips well within your skill level when packrafting with new partners.
