The 2018 NZ Packrafting Meet up is planned for the weekend of 24/25 March. It will be held in the Te Anau area, with many great trips just around the corner in Fiordland National Park.
To attend the meetup, you’ll need to join PRANZ and then register for the meetup. We’ll update the registration information as planning progresses.
Immeadiately before the meetup (on 22/23 March), the instructors from Packrafting NZ will be running a Basic Packrafting Rescue course. Its called a rescue course, but covers a huge array of Packrafting water skills, from paddle strokes, to self rescue, to companion rescue and more. We strongly encourage newcomers to packrafting to get themselves on a professional course to help keep them aware and safe on the water.
After the meetup, there will be informal trips heading out into Fiordland, right through until Easter weekend (the following weekend).
Block out the time from 21 March through to 02 April for some Packrafting goodness in Fiordland!
PRANZ will be posting all the information about the meetup on their site, www.packrafting.org.nz, with announcements via Facebook. Join/follow to keep up to date;
